I sat and sketched at a playground, which was deserted on a Saturday morning. The only visitors besides me, were 3 horses, a foal and some egrets. The foal was running around like mad, annoying his mother. I sketched over some previously painted patches of new blue watercolors. Then filled the rest of the blue with the Drums of Our Fathers (Garifuna) monument, the beach, a silhouette of a frigate bird, and a pelican. Also, included a 'waiting for breakfast' doodle, the pattern across the top is the tile of the floor. Click on any image to enlarge.( O0ps, that last page shows up twice, can't delete it just yet...)

from the Belize sketchbook
I was only able to sketch on days we didn't work in the hospital. This was a sampling from around town. The weather was hot and windy.
