I'll have one of those, and some of that...

Andrea Joseph is one of my favorite illustrators. You can visit her blog HERE.  I loved this illo, because I could really use some of that procrastinoid stuff. Click the picture to enlarge.

Molly and I went for a walk in the rain

We had a soggy hike around Highland Park, stayed on the flower side and avoided the vendors.

New Blank Journal Pages

I've been making journals out of paper scraps and junk mail envelopes. These are not yet sewn into the cover. I learned how to do this HERE. Mary Ann Moss is a 2nd grade teacher who uses this type of journal with her English Language Learners. If they can do it, so can we! I blogged about how to make a journal (CLICK here.)

Bead Embroidery

This is a beadwork piece surrounding a dichroic glass cabochon. It's about 4" in diameter. It needs a title.
Eye of the Storm? Cyclone? Typhoon? Clearly I need some suggestions from the studio audience...

Spring

I sat on the porch this morning and messed about with my favorite portable paints, Nicholson's Peerless Watercolors. I seldom take the time to do this, but when I do, I remember how much fun it is. Make a little drawing, and drop in some colors. A great way to start the day, in my opinion.
